What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a holistic medical practice based on the principle of “like cures like,” which means that substances that can cause symptoms in a healthy person can, in highly diluted doses, help treat similar symptoms in a sick person. Developed by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann over two centuries ago, homeopathy uses safe, non-toxic remedies prepared through extreme dilution, which stimulate the body’s natural healing process without toxic chemicals or harmful side effects. Unlike conventional medicine, homeopathy treats the whole person—addressing both symptoms and root causes of illness. To learn more, visit our full page on homeopathy.
What treatments do your providers use?
Our providers specialize in a variety of natural healing modalities, primarily focused on homeopathic care. In addition to homeopathy, our practitioners may incorporate nutritional guidance and other holistic approaches that align with your unique health needs. By focusing on the whole person—body, mind, and emotions—our goal is to help you achieve lasting well-being through natural, non-toxic methods that work in harmony with your body.
I haven’t received a diagnosis yet. Can I still work with you?
Absolutely! You don’t need a formal diagnosis to work with us. Many of our clients come to us seeking support for unexplained symptoms or ongoing health concerns. Our holistic approach focuses on understanding you as a whole person, not just your symptoms. We take the time to explore your health history, lifestyle, and any issues you’re facing, and work with you to create a personalized plan that supports your body’s natural ability to heal. Whether or not you have a diagnosis, we’re here to help you on your journey to better health.
How long will it take to feel better?
With the right approach, many people begin to feel better within a few days to a few weeks. Since our providers work to create a customized approach for you, it may take a little time to find the path that best supports your unique needs. Our experienced providers are dedicated to guiding you through this process to ensure we find the most effective solution for you.
Can I still do this if I’m taking other prescriptions or working with other providers?
Yes, you can still work with us while taking other prescriptions or working with other healthcare providers. Our approach is holistic and focuses on supporting your overall well-being. We believe in a collaborative care model, where your current treatments and care plans are considered as we develop a personalized plan for you. Our providers will work with you to ensure that any recommendations align with your existing treatments, and we’ll make sure your health and safety remain our top priority. We can help coordinate with your other providers to ensure a seamless and integrative approach to your care.
Does GNHS take Health Insurance or HSA?
At GNHS, we accept payments via credit and debit cards for our services. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept health insurance at this time, as holistic health care is not typically covered by most insurance plans. However, we strive to make our services accessible and affordable, and we’re happy to discuss payment options with you. We are unable to provide superbills with a diagnosis code. We can provide an invoice, but this may or may not be sufficient to obtain reimbursement, depending on your insurance carrier.
How much does it cost?
